In mid-August, we informed about the jubilee 10th anniversary of Xiaomi. This time, for a change, they are celebrating their MIUI extension, which received an update to the latest version only recently.
The MIUI superstructure celebrates 10 years
MIUI is currently in its infancy 12 version, this time it was quite significant changes in the system environment. For their own 10 years existence, the popular and very popular superstructure from Xiaomi has gained millions of fans around the world.
Whether it was due to its features, design, or overall positive user experience. The superstructure saw the light of day already at the first model smartphone from Xiaomi from the now world-famous Mi series. It was a model Xiaomi Mi 1.
No hardware experience
In the beginning, none of the then small Xiaomi team was a hardware expert. Therefore, they started with the operating system first, as the team was quite good at it. Operating system Android therefore became their first choice.
The operating system required much more work than the team expected. After a joint discussion, they therefore agreed to focus on basic functions such as phone calls, SMS messages, contacts and home screen.
After two months, specifically 16. August 2010, the first version of the superstructure was born MIUI.

Originally, the superstructure was intended only for asian market. But that has changed 20. September 2010when it also appeared globally. Responses were very positive due to its simplicity, speed and fluency or stability.
Immediate worldwide success
MIUI at the beginning attracted real attention on the US Developer Forum XDA-Developers. Since then, MIUI has taken hold in groups of technically proficient users around the world.

Subsequently, the users themselves began to arbitrarily create local versions of the superstructure and community in different countries of the world. Later, a large MIUI base for European users in the form xiaomi.eu.
