The device bears the model number MDZ-27-AA. Xiaomi bet on processor cards from the same manufacturer as the previous model, namely quad - core Amlogic S905Y4 together with the graphics unit Mali G31 MP2. This hardware will allow you to play the content in 4K resolution at 60 fps.
What really captures the product and defends its title of "smart living room device" is the full range of supported codecs. These include HDR10 +, HLG, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and DTS HD, AV1 / H.265 / VP9 P-2 / AVS2 4Kp30 and H.264. The offer is really wide.
Since the power supply from the HDMI connector is not enough for its operation, the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick 2021 will be powered by a 5-watt adapter, which will probably be included in the package.
