Chinese production Xiaomi officially introduced a new generation of the popular rice cooker. It also offers several smart features including NFC or links to the Xiaomi Home mobile app.
A new generation of rice cooker from Xiaomi with NFC
The new rice cooker comes with a label Xiaomi Mijia Smart Rice Cooker 3L. It was officially introduced by Xiaomi only in China and it is an improved model of the previous generation, which this time is equipped with new technologies.
A big novelty in the case of the new generation is the NFC chip. Thanks to this chip, you can, for example, start preparing your favorite recipe by simply attaching your smartphone to the cooker.
Even more intelligent technologies
The capacity of this cooker is, as the name suggests, up to 3 liters. Inside, there is a bowl made of non-stick material, which distributes heat evenly throughout the interior.
In addition, this intelligent rice cooker from Xiaomi also brings a new IH space heating system as well as a new cumulative valve with a spherical design. Thanks to this, the rice is a bit sweeter and tastier, without any boiling.
In addition, an improved screen with individual programs and four control buttons are available at the top. As a reminder, the previous model had only two control buttons, so managing the new device is a bit easier.
You'll also enjoy a Wi-Fi connection to control your smart device remotely or connect with the familiar Xiaomi Home app and your ecosystem of smart products from Xiaomi.
Price and product availability
Nový smart rice cooker from Xiaomi has been on sale in China since July 21, 2021. Its price was set at 449 Chinese yuan, which in the current calculation is approximately 59 € / 69 USD.
We do not yet know the availability of this product outside of China or its international performance. However, we expect availability from verified international retailers in the coming weeks.
