Amazfit, watch brand of a popular partner company Xiaomian, comes again with a new model. This time it is a model with a focus on sports, which should come to market under the name Amazfit Sports Watch 3 or Stratos 3.
Stratos 3?
Some sources state that the name of the watch is "Stratos 3", so it is possible that there will be a watch in selected markets Sports Watch 3 distributed under the name Stratos 3. In general, it will be the successor to the popular model Amazfit Stratos, which has really high satisfaction ratings of up to 98% in selected Chinese e-shops.
Quality workmanship this time as well
New watch Amazfit Sports Watch 3 (Stratos 3) in terms of material, they offer polycarbonate together with tempered glass. There is also a stainless steel frame and also water resistance with 5 ATM certification.
The third generation should be more durable than its predecessor thanks to the materials used and is also lighter. Two versions were introduced, which differ in material. The classic Stratos 3 model with silicone strap weighs 59,6 grams. More luxurious Elite Edition received a titanium hoop, sapphire crystal and rubber bracelet. It weighs 68,7 g.
The watch received a special display called Full Moon Display, where it is about 1,34 ″ reflective panel with resolution 320 x 320 pixels and a color palette at the level of 260 colors. Thanks to the type of display used, we expect a great display in sunlight and also good endurance, as the display should be efficient in terms of battery consumption.
There is no protective glass Gorilla Glass 3. The display was manufactured by Japan Display Inc. directly for Huami and the manufacturer declares that it is a 25% larger display than a 1,2 ″ competing watch.
There are sports and smart features
In terms of support for selected sports, the watch will offer up to 19 different activities including cycling, swimming, skiing and more. A second, more efficient chip is even available for sports-oriented functions.
To use the secondary and energy-saving chip, it is necessary to activate the so-called Ultra Mode, while endurance 300 mAh battery should achieve 14 days. Up to 11 sports, heart rate measurement or NFC will still be available. This mode is not aimed at professionals, but rather at amateur athletes.
In the basic mode, the watch lasts 7 days. In this mode, the manufacturer states all-day heart rate monitoring, Bluetooth on, 150 messages per day, 30 times wake-up display when the wrist is raised, 30 minutes of sports activity measurement, and 4 times daily use of NFC. In GPS mode, the watch lasts 35 hours.
Apart from NFC (it is not yet clear whether this will be a chip usable only in China), the watch is also equipped with technology. GPS, GLONASS and Galileo. The equipment also includes an optical PPG Bio Tracker for quality heart rate measurement results. There is also sacceleration sensor, gyroscope, air pressure sensor and geomagnetic sensor.
Internal memory and WiFi
Following the example of the first Amazfit Stratos, the Stratos 3 also comes with a built-in one 4 GB internal memory to store music. 1,9 GB is available for the user. Thanks to this option, you will not have to wear a smartphone when playing sports. It is still known from the hardware equipment 512 MB LPDDR3 RAM.
In terms of connectivity, the Amazfit Stratos 3 has Bluetooth 4.2 as well Wi-Fi 24 GHz 802.11 b / g / n. The watch runs on its own operating system Amazfit OS.
The price starts at an attractive value
The new smart watch from the Amazfit workshop was valued at 1299 yuan on the domestic, Chinese market, which is 163 eur / 4220 CZK.
Luxury Elite version with titanium hoop and sapphire crystal will be available in China for 1699 yuan, in terms of 214 eur / 5519 CZK.
