Lei Jun pointed out on his new Weibo profile that the ceramic back of the smartphone is what he would like to welcome with the following mobile devices in this series.
Even on the basis of this affection, we can assume that the new successor is not far at all.
It is very likely that the new Mi MIX will be launched in the third or fourth quarter of 2020. It is expected to bear the name Mi MIX 4 or Mi MIX 2020 and will be made from the popular ceramics.
According to preliminary estimates, we can look forward to a 120 Hz display with a resolution of 2K and a selfie camera below the display. We could already see this patent on older videos of Xiaomi smartphones, but it has not been used in any of them yet.
The last product introduced within this smartphone line was the Mi MIX Alpha. Very interesting and innovative product concept, but not for the average owner.
