Spoločnosť Redmias a subsidiary brand Xiaomi, complements its K40 flagship line (includes K40, K40 Pro and K40 Pro +) with a new gaming smartphone Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. In its equipment, it will also offer quality JBL audio equipment and physical game buttons for better control of mobile games.
Redmi K40 Gaming Edition officially introduced
The game novelty was officially introduced just a few minutes ago at a press conference of a Chinese manufacturer. Equipment marked Redmi K40 Gaming Edition brings premium processing from glass-metal materials.
The back offers an incoming camera module with an interesting RGB color backlight, LED flash and also has several sharper edges to highlight the game design of the smartphone. The bottom "chin" of the smartphone is only 2,7 mm and the side frames only 1,8 mm.
The construction also includes a pair of physical switches, which have the task of sliding the physical game buttons in the side edge. 120 Hz OLED and MediaTek Dimensity 1200
A big advantage is also the OLED display with minimal frames. The diagonal of this panel is 6,67 ″, the resolution is Full HD + (2400 x 1080 px). It does not support HDR10 +, 10 billion colors or DCI-P3 color gamut and also has a high and dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The sampling frequency in this case is 480 Hz, the brightness is 500 rivets, the contrast is 5: 000 and there is also Gorilla Glass 000.
In terms of performance, a powerful eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 (6 nm) processor is available, offering Cortex-A78 cores and also supporting fast 5G connections.
According to the manufacturer, this set achieved more than 9 thousand points in Antutu tests (v724). There will definitely be no shortage of performance, and the smartphone should be able to handle virtually any mobile game from the Play Store. There will be several configurations on sale, with a choice of 8/12 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The manufacturer also offers accessories to improve cooling at high performance. Smartphone K40 Gaming Edition will even support an external fan from Black Shark, which also belongs to Xiaomi. There is also a strategic deployment of Wi-Fi antennas for fast connection in all circumstances.
64 MPx camera and JBL audio system
The main camera in this case is a 64 MPx sensor (f / 1.65). It is also complemented by an 8 MPx ultra-wide-angle sensor (f / 2.2) with a viewing angle of 120 degrees and also a 2 MPx macro sensor (f / 2.4). 4p (30/1080 fps).

Model Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will arrive at the official selling price since 1999 Chinese yuan. The manufacturer shared a silver and black color version with us at a press conference, but other color combinations are not excluded.
