Minimal frames and square camera module
The poster was unveiled in China's home. It shows the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 smartphone from the front and back. According to him, it really looks like Xiaomi has reduced the frames to a minimum and we don't even see any cut-out or shot in which the front selfie camera would settle.
This means that we will really see the long-awaited selfie camera technology hidden under the display. This should happen exactly the day before the South Korean Samsung will present its solution with its flexible smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold 3.
It will be interesting to watch the duel of these two big giants and compare which company managed to handle this new technology better.
The rear module is square in shape and quite reminiscent of the one from the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The main difference will be the absence of a secondary screen. This remains as a specialty of the Ultra model. We can see a really big main sensor. It is speculated that the main sensor should have a resolution of up to 200 MPx.
Availability in the global market is questionable
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 design will be really clean and minimalist without any visible design "fads". According to the latest information, this smartphone should not be sold on the global market yet and should remain as an exclusivity for the domestic Chinese market. However, we expect it to be sold at international retailers.
