Android better than Apple iPhone?
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in the smartphone seems to change the performance. It's a huge improvement over its predecessor, but also over other processors that ship in Android smartphones.
Extreme tests revealed that the 12S Ultra ran at a higher frame rate than the average 57.7 fps. Other 2022 flagship smartphones ranked much lower.
Moreover, it did not lead to excessive overheating of the device and the tester measured the highest temperature of 42,3°C. Efficient heat dissipation is also a novelty of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor from the Qualcomm workshop. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra smartphone was the coolest among all tested smartphones, where there were pieces like the iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone SE 2022 and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
According to the tester, this also results in the replacement of the chip manufacturer, which is now the world's largest TSMC plant. The previous generation of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was produced by Samsung factories.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra beat only a tablet from Apple
It should be noted that the iPad Mini 6, which is powered by the A15 Bionic chip, delivered a higher frame rate than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and its temperature was also lower. But since it's a tablet, it doesn't belong in a direct comparison with a Xiaomi smartphone.
