For the official presentation of the new flagship killer, Redmi K30 Pro, many enthusiastic fans were waiting. We wrote a lot about him before and we will definitely be for some time to come. Now we focus on the many people asking why our new favorite only has 60 Hz Display?
So how is it?
Redmi K30 Pro is a great machine in several ways. However, as it is the flagship of Xiaomi's subsidiary, many of us have been bothered by the question of the low refresh rate of the display, which is the classic 60 Hz. At a time when even cheaper smartphones come with high frequencies, this is very surprising for a flagship.

So let's start at the beginning. The year is December 2019 and the world has announced the arrival of the model Redmi K30. This model is a basic version and has 120 Hz display. The Redmi K30 Pro is one of the flagships, which logically outraged many fans. They, of course, did not have to wait long and pointed out this fact.

Redmi CEO Lu Weibing has finally commented on the topic, explaining the lower refresh rate for the Redmi K30 Pro. According to him, the specifications of the Redmi K30 and K30 Pro models were set about 10 months in advance.
It is therefore impossible for this change to come at the last minute. It is therefore a well-thought-out decision made consciously. It is believed that this move was made to last the battery and to achieve a real full screen experience.
Xiaomi's mother with Mi 10 was faced with the decision: better battery life or a higher display refresh rate? So we all know the result. According to Redmi, a display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz would rapidly shorten battery life.
It is in connection with the Mi 10 that he also mentions the fact that the display is more demanding to manufacture and they do not have enough 90 Hz displays for this smartphone. As a result, production is slower and they do not manage to saturate market demand. Then, of course, there is the question of price, 90 Hz is much more expensive and would raise the total price of the smartphone, which would approach the level of Mi 10.
Still a favorite
Regardless of the lower refresh rate of the display, Redmi claims that the Redmi K30 Pro is an adequate flagship of the company, including the display.
K30 Pro display features such as support HDR 10 +, excellent brightness of great 1200 rivets, certification TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Care and panel Samsung E3 AMOLED in addition to a touch sampling frequency of 180 Hz, they make it more than a worthy opponent to other brands.
In the end, the Redmi K30 Pro, despite the 60 Hz display, ranks among the ceilings and we are extremely excited about this model. Given the price-performance ratio, we approve this logical step by Redmi. Be sure to let us know your opinion and we will let you know as soon as possible.
