Not long ago, we started sharing offers and coupons from the new e-commerce portal Hekka on our Xiaomi Planet and China Planet websites. This is our new partner that offers original goods from brands such as Xiaomi, Realme, Ulefone, Honor and other well-known Chinese brands.
Since we try to bring you the best offers on the market on our websites, we have started direct cooperation with this new shopping portal. However, this was preceded by a real test of orders, without which we would not engage in any cooperation.
We ordered both the Redmi Pad and the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro
Before we start a new collaboration with a store or marketplace, we always try out the given store on a few of our own orders. We only want to recommend really verified and reliable stores so that our readers' money is safe.
The Chinese always promise us delivery without customs fees in advance, that it will go without problems, but from our experience we don't trust anyone anymore and we always try out the services of the store ourselves first.
It was no different with the Singaporean e-commerce portal Hekka, which literally "spammed" us with e-mail messages and requests for cooperation for many months. We finally decided to give them a chance.
On October 20, 2022, we placed our first order with them for the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro product, while the day after that, on October 21, the package was already on its way to us.
As the package traveled from China, it took longer to arrive. The package arrived on November 14 and the total delivery time was in this case 25 days.
In addition to the fitness bracelet, we also ordered a more expensive product, namely the Redmi Pad. It also traveled from a Chinese warehouse and in this case the delivery took time 22 days. Both packages arrived in standard bubble wrap and undamaged.
So how does shipping from the Hekka China warehouse work?
Hekka uses a shipping service to transport packages from China or Hong Kong UBI Smart Parcel, which distributes packages through Belgium, where they probably have a transshipment point. The package tracking numbers are in the format LB023****32BE and the final delivery to the Slovak address is provided by Slovak Post.
The packages "pretend" to be sent from Belgium, i.e. within the European Union, and the advantage is that they really are there is no need to pay additional customs fees. Not even the infamous €2 customs clearance fee, which SK pošta charges for some shipments from Aliexpress.
The transport from the Hong Kong warehouse to Belgium took approximately 15 days, the subsequent delivery from Belgium via Slovak Post to our address took 7 days. You can see the entire path of the package on the screenshot above.
In the end, this means that you will pay the specific amount you see in the basket for Hekka, which is the final price for you. For almost all products, we also noticed free shipping and, as our experience shows, you will not have to pay any customs or other fees. Hekka also declares on their website that all product prices already include VAT.
