HDR 10+, AMOLED, 1 threads, blue light filter, all this sounds fantastic. The display is really the pearl of a smartphone, but it misses one important thing. The maximum refresh rate stopped at 200 Hz, which may not be enough for someone today. But is it really so?
They got up to 80 Hz
Fan base of Xiaomi brands and Redmi she is really huge and resourceful. They demonstrated their skills in full display when modifying the phone's display Redmi K30 Pro.
The manufacturer's official maximum display refresh rate is 60 Hz. Later, the brand management explained the reasons why they did not opt for a higher value. At a lower refresh rate, the battery lasts much longer, and at the time of the smartphone's planning, the 90 Hz function was not so extended.
Enthusiasts of the new smartphone did not get it, so they decided to increase the frequency. After booting the smartphone and uploading the modified firmware, they managed to increase the value to 80 Hz.
We can't deny that the higher frequency is really incomparable to the original 60 and that the smartphone will once again get a new twist. It should be noted at the foot that unofficially increasing the refresh rate may damage the phone's display. Also, with this modification you will automatically lose any warranty and you will be fully responsible for all damages.
Undoubtedly, this is a great success on the part of the fans, but this success can bring with it a number of problems. This is by no means an official feature and is unlikely to be updated. It's just a matter of pointing out that the display can handle more than 60 Hz.
