Our third order from the international and already well-known e-shop TradingShenzhen contained the latest piece of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and we added to the cart the most powerful wireless charger on the market, which has a power of up to 80 W and was made especially for this smartphone. .
You will also find shopping experience in the Xiaomi Planet group
After the order Xiaomi Mi 11 a Redmi K40 Pro these are our other real experiences with the mentioned business. How did the delivery of the absolutely most expensive smartphone we ever bought from China go? You will find out in this article.
TradingShenzhen did not disappoint
Yes, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is the most expensive smartphone we have ever ordered from China. And we have been shopping in Chinese e-shops for several years. However, thanks to our previous experience with this seller, we were sure that we do not have to worry about our money at all and the order will run smoothly. And so it happened.
We placed the order on April 6.4.2021, 6, when the smartphone was not really in stock yet and it was a pre-order. 12.4.2021 days later, on XNUMX, we received an e-mail with a tracking number and a direct link to the page where it was possible to track the package. We appreciate how TradingShenzhen has a tracking system set up, because every step of the package is visible there.
Thanks a lot quality duty-free transport Global Priority, which the store offers for a fee of 16 €, we did not pay any additional fees. Customs was completely cleared for us directly by the seller. The delivery of our package itself took 14 days, which is still a great result, but for example a package with Redmi The K40 Pro arrived in a record 8 days. However, overall we are extremely satisfied with the delivery.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Chinese version (with B20 LTE)
As for our order, we have chosen the version with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB internal memory. This version is to be officially sold in Europe at a price of 1299 €. The smartphone puts us together with an 80W fast wireless charger came out at 1100 €. But now the prices are even lower as the seller has since dropped the prices by another 50 € below.
Top-of-the-line packaging, as per an expensive smartphone
When a person orders a smartphone from China worth 1000 or more euros, one does not want anything to be damaged during transport. When ordering from the TradingShenzhen store, we were sure that the package from distant China could handle the package without any harm.
The box with the phone itself is wrapped in three more layers of foil and packaging. In this case, it is almost impossible to damage the internal contents, even if the package is handled carelessly or thrown.
As we are used to with this trader, a gift in the form of an OTG reduction from USB Type-C to a classic USB-A connector and also a reduction from a Chinese adapter to a European one was waiting for us in the package. It is a cheaper reduction, so we recommend buying a higher quality one. However, it will certainly suffice as a temporary solution.
We also found a kind of "protocol" in the package about testing important functions of the smartphone. TradingShenzhen technicians test each piece of the smartphone so that the customer does not receive a broken piece.
As far as the smartphone package is concerned, it comes in the same "compact" version as in the case of the Mi 11, ie without the charger in the package. If you don't have a powerful charging adapter at home yet, you should take this into account when purchasing.
We have verified and tested original Xiaomi 65W GaN adapter, which we highly recommend, but the possibility is also the mentioned 80W wireless station, which comes with a 120W adapter in the package. You can also use this to charge your laptop, for example. However, you will need a reduction on our sockets (TradingShenzhen gives for free) as the adapter is Chinese.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in Chinese version: What are the limitations?
In the case of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra model, the Chinese version can also be used in Europe without any problems or restrictions. Thanks to the Snapdragon 888 processor, it includes complete support for mobile networks in Europe, including the LTE B20 band (800 MHz frequency).
We tested the speed of the 4G LTE connection in the center of Trenčín on the Telekom network and the smartphone reaches a perfect speed - 107 Mbps for download and 55 Mbps for upload. We do not have the opportunity to test the 5G network in our city at the moment.
Although the smartphone currently only comes with the Chinese version of MIUI, it contains the English language, and what's more, the seller will install functional Google Play services on your smartphone, so the phone can be used out of the box. If you would like to install Slovak / Czech language on your phone, this is possible thanks to a modified ROM from Xiaomi.eu / Miuios.cz.
Xiaomi.eu ROM is based on the Chinese version of MIUI and is supplemented by a complete localization, including translations into languages not only from all over Europe. However, the installation process is not completely for everyone, the procedure is more technically demanding. First you need to unlock the bootloader of the smartphone (process for 1-2 weeks), then load the TWRP recovery menu and then the system.
However, over time, the TradingShenzhen reseller offers the installation of a modified ROM with all languages for a fee of € 15. We believe that this option will also be added for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra model, which will make the overall purchase and use of a smartphone significantly more convenient for many users.
We have already started testing and you will soon find a detailed review on our website. If you have any questions about the smartphone or the TradingShenzhen store, feel free to ask in the comments. Hello, what is the main difference for the Czech user Xiaomi mi 11 pro / ultra in the Chinese ROM version from the global ROM version? is what is described in the line below true? https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-the-Xiaomi-China-version-and-the-global-version
Thank you
Hello, Yes, Chinese ROM does not have Google Apps (they can be easily installed) and only has Chinese / English. By name, Global ROM is ready for use in global markets.
After the purchase, is it safe for me to use this or that version? For example, if I want to have a bank application on my phone and make some order payments?
Thank you for your response
Hello, if you choose the Xiaomi.EU firmware in the store, the phone is fully secured, everything is handled. Both bank apps and NFC payments work flawlessly and securely. We have been using Xiaomi phones this way for a long time and so far we have not had any problem.
