We have new information about the first one electric cars from the Chinese giant Xiaomi. Photos have appeared that show the alleged design of the car.
The design of the car was leaked
These photos were obtained by one user, who subsequently published them on the Chinese social network Weibo. Although the images are not of high quality, the design is clearly visible.
We even learned the name of the electric car, which it should be Xiaomi MS11. We do not know why Xiaomi would decide on such a zoning and whether it will also be the final name of the electric car. It can easily be just a job title or a model designation.
By design, it should be about sporty looking sedan with four doors, so it is not a 5-door hatchback, as it might seem from some previous photos.
There have been some photos of bumpers and the like before, but as Xiaomi claims, these photos are from an early prototype, not the actual car.
A slight similarity with Tesla
The headlights look very similar to the ones on the car McLaren 720S. However, one cannot deny at least the minimal appearance with the model Tesla Model 3, which should be its main competitor.
In the photos, we can see that practically the entire roof will be made of glass, and there is a noticeable LiDAR sensor on the front bumper. The big wheels with the Xiaomi logo in their center also look good.
There are wide rear arches and the roof tapers slightly towards the rear. The rear taillights are quite reminiscent of Aston Martin's design language.
It can still only be a prototype
For its first electric car, Xiaomi will focus on 4 simple things: high quality, ease of use, smart functions and pleasant design.
The only pity is that we did not get photos of the interior. However, nothing may take long and at the rate of leaks it will reach us within the next few weeks.
However, nothing changes in the fact that we should get to know the first electric car from Xiaomi only in the year 2024 and even that will apparently be intended only for the domestic Chinese market. The photos may still only be a prototype, so we have to take them with a grain of salt.
