A subsidiary of a Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, company POCO, is preparing its upcoming smartphone under the name POCO F4. And we already know the first live photos that show the design of this device as well as the layout of the rear camera.
POCO F4: The upcoming smartphone in the first live photos
Model POCO F4 should arrive on the market as an affordable smartphone, the upper middle class category. It therefore offers equipment that extends towards the flagship models, but at an affordable price. From the leaks we have at our disposal, we know that this model should include 6,67 "AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The processor will take care of the performance with the support of 5G connectivity, specifically Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G. It will also be supplemented with 6/12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage (depending on configuration). There will also be a 4520 mAh battery modeled on the predecessor, the Android 12 system, as well as a graphic superstructure marked MIUI 13.
The rear camera offers up to 64 MPx resolution
As you can see in the live photos from xiaomiui.net, there will be a circular rear camera module on the back. However, the back one will not offer 48 MPx, as originally expected, given the Chinese version and previous leaks.
Its resolution should stop at the value 64 MPx and will contain a sensor OV64B from the company OMNIVISION. We don't have more information on optical stabilization support or night shots yet, but we expect good results complemented by optimized software adjustments.
In addition to performance and a quality camera, this smartphone should also impress with its design. We should see a few matte as well as glossy color versions. We do not know the date of the official performance yet, but until then we will certainly see some details or leaked technical specifications.
