Our favorite Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi this time it brings a change to its favorite mobile app called My Fit. It changes the label to ZeppLife and in addition to naming, it also brings other news, for example in connection with the application My Fitness.
Mi Fit in a new way as the Zepp Life application
First of all, we remind you that the application We Fit is a long - standing title that is used to connect wearable electronics, such as fitness bracelets, smart watches, scales or sneakers. However, this application comes with a change of designation and will also affect new devices.
The update will arrive on individual users' smartphones, even in Europe, in the coming days. This is version v6.0 and the size of this update has stopped at 210 MB. The application has a new logo, but retains the orange colors of the original brand, and the link to the .apk file even retains the designation com.xiaomi.hm.health.
The main element of this change should be the focus of the application ZeppLife on brand devices Amazfit. These are manufactured by a well-known Chinese company Huami, which formed a partnership with the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi. Now, however, it is beginning to act as an independent and independent producer, which is also indicated by the renaming of the popular application.
As of version v3.0, which was released in the summer of 2017, the application is from Huami practically necessary for any connection of a Mi Band bracelet or smart scales such as the Mi Body Composition Scale. Application link, in the Play Store, however, will now move you to an application called Zepp Life (formerly Mi Fit). It's the same Apple AppStore store for iOS.
Users should also get used to the Mi Fitness app
On the other hand, selected smart watches from the Xiaomi Mi Watch series should no longer use older alternatives such as Xiaomi Wear or Mi Health to connect. These owners should continue to use the new application My Fitness (formerly Xiaomi Health), which you will find for Android at the following link.
Both updated applications, ZeppLife, as well as Mi Fitness, they can offer the same amount of data and also offer the ability to import data from older applications. However, there is a difference, an updated Zepp Life application is required to connect older models bracelets or watches, which still applies (see editorial screenshot below).
New application My Fitness is written earlier for newer devices and currently supports, for example Xiaomi smart band 6. It is also expected that this application will be the home of new bracelets such as the Xiaomi Band 7, Redmi Smart Band Pro, but also the new Xiaomi Watch S1 and S1 Active.
It may take several days to weeks to complete this process and move to new applications for all users. We in the newsroom are curious how Xiaomi and Huami will finally agree. And also how it will affect the upcoming Xiaomi Band 7 fitness bracelet, which is already in the preparation stage.

I am so sad that Zepp life and Mi Fitness are not interchangeable well.
I had to reset all my mi band to use new Mi Fitness, but I realized Mi Fitness is not showing well organized data compared to the former one, especially with the workout data.
Hope this problem gets well soon.
I downloaded the new app but when i realized I couldn't pair with my mi weighing scales Iand it wouldn't transfer my data (it just kept taking me back in circles) i switched back!
The oold mi (now zepp) app hasn't been working well since I got my mi band 6 which is pretty annoying as my other bands all worked well. Seems odd to bring out a new product but not update your app to support it well. This one may work better, who knows I won't find out because of the lack of functionality mentioned above.
I have a Xiaomi Watch and a Xiaomi Composition Body Scale. Why should I have to use two separate apps - Zepplife and Mi Fitness - to connect to these devices?
He went to watch redmi 2 di xiaomi ma non riesco ad associatorlo a Zepp life…come mai?? Ho restistinato decine di volte ma nulla!! Avete sugestione?
How to set the pedometer to count steps? This is not possible with the latest Android update,
There is also a zepp life application without connecting the clock,
well thank you
Such a big mess now. Mu watch only works with mi fitness, but mi fitness doesn't work with mi scale. Mu scale works with zepp life, and doesn't support mi watch. No link to Google fit eather. So parish, so bad. Xiaomi should do something about this and support all devices with its own app.
