A few days ago, we participated in the presentation of a new generation of the popular Android superstructure from Xiaomi using an online broadcast - MIUI 12.
The whole system has been dug from the ground up and brings a lot of improvements in every way.
From 27.4. In 2020, a closed beta test was launched and a day later a detailed video appeared on YouTube, which shows completely new corners of the system.
"Chinese iOS?"

Xiaomi borrowed not only the design of a new notification center, but even a distinctive line at the bottom of the display that marks the home button.
In the video we can see the Chinese ROM MIUI 12 in a completely original version of the firmware, which is also a consequence of the not yet fully optimized system. The whole system runs in either Chinese or English.
After clicking through the initial settings of the smartphone, we found ourselves on the home screen. At first glance, it is almost identical to the previous MIUI 11, but there are actually more changes.
The notification and control center underwent the first significant change. In MIUI 12, the control panel will be even cleaner, clearer and more up-to-date for the current period.
The huge form with iOS cannot be denied, you can see for yourself in the video, but from our side it is not a negative change. Xiaomi has perfected its new generation of superstructures.
Another novelty that TechDroider praised is the ability to attach the application to one of the corners of the screen. This is a very useful feature that will be very popular among users.
MIUI 12 also brings with it many new design changes in the form of "Super Wallpapers". These will evoke a kind of transition between a cosmic view and a detailed approach to the chosen planet.
Interestingly, Xiaomi is likely to make these wallpapers available only for flagship models, as the transition animation will definitely be performance intensive.
Xiaomi has not forgotten about Always On Display users either. For them, it brings another load of wonderful animations, which will allow them to easily beautify their phone and breathe new life into it.
An excellent feature are the new clear graphs implemented in the system. Thanks to these graphs, you will be able to conveniently and clearly check the available storage, exhausted data volume, battery capacity and many other things.
Also new is the improved night mode in version 2.0. It brings support for even more applications and adapts more intelligently to the environment. Welcome again.

It is mentioned several times in the video that the whole system currently has a lot of shortcomings that still need to be fine-tuned, but the basis looks really good.
After all, it is still a beta version and the first stable versions should not be released until June.
