They managed to launch on China Unicom's 5G network in Shanghai 8K Ultra-HD online video. The Mi MIX 3 5G can do this thanks to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and X50 5G modem.
Although the Mi MIX 3 5G display supports the maximum resolution of FullHD +, the difference in quality was noticeable according to testers. The applicability of such a high resolution is especially seen by the manufacturer in virtual reality.
The most affordable 5G smartphone
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G was officially introduced just before the start of the popular MWC 2019 mobile congress. Its European price tag was set at €599, which is really affordable due to the technology used.
In addition to the latest Snapdragon 855 and 5G modems, the equipment also includes a top 12 MPx dual camera, a retractable construction and an almost frameless 6,39 ″ AMOLED display. The smartphone is to go on sale in May / May in selected markets.
