Xiaomi really doesn't start updating her smartphones. He is one of the few Android manufacturers who, for example, take care of their smartphones in terms of software. Owners of the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition are now enjoying the new update. So far, only the people of China have received the update, as it is an update of the Chinese version of MIUI.
Android 9 Pie, 960fps video and super night mode
The new update is called MIUI V10.1.2.0.PEHCNFI and brings three significant innovations. The first is the latest Android 9 Pie, the other two relate to the camera. After the new update, the Mi 8 Explorer Edition will be able to record super slow motion video at an amazing 960fps. Previously, it produced slow-motion videos "only" at 240fps.

The second major innovation of the camera is the super night mode or super night mode. Thanks to this mode, the smartphone is able to create even more beautiful night photos. In super night mode, the smartphone creates 8 photos with different exposures and combines them into one with excellent light and detail.

However, 960fps video and super night mode are nothing new in Xiaomi smartphones. The Mi 8 and Mi MIX 2S received these features in the November updates. Of course, the flagship Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 has all these features.
