Xiaomi introduces to his robotic vacuum cleaner portfolio a new extra-low vacuum cleaner called Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner. Its height is only 55 mm, the average is 323 mm. This makes it a very compact and practical vacuum cleaner, which can easily fit under low beds or low furniture, for example. Despite this compact size, it advanced navigation features are not missing.
Accurate navigation thanks to 3D ToF
Mijia Despite its extremely low height, the Ultra-Thin Robot has advanced 3D ToF sensor (depth sensor). The manufacturer also equipped the vacuum cleaner with a new algorithm called S-Cross 3D. This combination ensures very precise movement in space. The vacuum cleaner can also recognize very small objects such as children's toys or slippers.
Extremely low but still powerful
As we mentioned above in the article, the vacuum cleaner is only high 55 mm. But still, I have sucking power up 2000 Pa. The vacuumed impurities are stored in a collection container that has a capacity 500ml. As we are used to with most new vacuum cleaners from Xiaomi, this model also has a moping function. Currently Xiaomi Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner sells only on the Chinese market at a price of 1999 yuan, which is about 254 euros / 310 USD. However, it is possible that this model will also be sold in a global version through well-known international retailers.
