Xiaomi is already fully working on the new MIUI 14 superstructure and it is clear that it will not reach all current devices. Now we bring you a list of smartphones that probably won't get this update.
We recently revealed to you list of up to 121 smartphones, which should receive the upcoming update to MIUI 14. But you also need to look at the other side of the coin - at smartphones, which, unfortunately, will not receive it.
Xiaomi will cut up to 26 smartphones
This list was brought by the portal Xiaomiui, but nothing is officially confirmed by Xiaomi yet. It is assumed that smartphones that have a ROM based on Android 11 with the current version of MIUI 13 will no longer receive the update to MIUI 14. But we will have to wait for official confirmation from the Chinese giant.
All the smartphones in the list of unsupported devices have been on the market for a long time, and it was only a matter of time before they were removed from this list. Of course, this does not mean that Xiaomi will stop issuing security updates as well. Now we are talking purely about the update to the MIUI 14 superstructure.
We do not know when Xiaomi will introduce this new superstructure, but we assume that it will be with the new one Xiaomi series 13, so in November at the earliest. More will follow before her MIUI 13.5. However, there won't be any major upgrades and Xiaomi keeps most of the new features up to MIUI 14.
