According to new leaks, the global smartphone should LITTLE X5 present as an alternative to the Chinese device with the name Redmi Note 12 5G. It's codenamed "moonstone" and shares the same ROM. However, the POCO variant will offer a different chipset. While the Redmi variant offers Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, the POCO X5 should arrive with Snapdragon 695.

Both chips come from Qualcomm, so it is possible to write a kind of shared ROM for both processors. We have not yet confirmed other technical specifications, but we can assume the Chinese device Redmi Note 12 5G. It offers a 6,67" Full HD+ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
There will also be 8 GB of RAM memory, 256 GB of storage, a 48 MPx main camera or an 8 MPx front "selfie" camera. The battery will offer a capacity of 5000 mAh and will also support 33 W fast cable charging.
POCO X5 Pro: Snapdragon 778G and fast charging up to 67 W
Redmi also recently introduced its new device under the name in China Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. And according to the tipster, this particular device should be rebuilt for the global market under the name POCO X5 Pro (5G). It should also share key technical specifications with this device.
Specifically, it is a 6,67″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with support for fast 5G connectivity, as well as 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage (without the possibility of expanding the storage with a microSD card).
The equipment will also include a 108 MPx main camera or a 16 MPx front "selfie" camera. In this case, the battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and will support fast up to 67 W cable charging. However, we do not yet know the selling price or availability of these smartphones.
