POCO X5 Pro: The mid-range novelty has appeared in the IMEI database
POCO is one of the manufacturers that usually combines high performance and an affordable selling price. And Pro devices are quite popular, following the example of their predecessors, such as LITTLE X3 Pro or X4 Pro 5G. Now, however, the new X5 Pro is being prepared, which should again impress with its equipment. It's also possible that the company is preparing more than just one smartphone, given that the X5 series is rumored.
Model LITTLE X5 Pro has already appeared in the IMEI database, which indicates its early official introduction. Thanks to this database, we already know the key technical specifications. The model designation of this smartphone is "M20" and the code name is "Redwood".
The device should be powered by a new processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G, which the company introduced just a week ago. If we look at the technical specifications, they reveal a 6,67″ 1080p display with IPS LCD technology and a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. So it is a very similar panel to the X3 Pro model.
3C certification revealed support for up to 67 W fast cable charging. This device should contain 5000 mAh battery and you could get to a full charge in about 30-40 minutes. As for the photographic functions, we do not know them yet.
Redmi Note 12E Pro as the Chinese version of the new smartphone
However, the design of the back of the device was revealed through FCC certification. It is clear that it will be a more stylish version compared to the X3 Pro model, and the smartphone will thus be included in the current design line. We can therefore look forward to rounded edges and a rectangular module of the rear camera sensors.
In terms of software, this smartphone will include MIUI 14, that is, a superstructure based on the operating system Android 12. This was also confirmed by the source xiaomiui.net. The latest internal MIUI builds for POCO X5 Pro 5G are V14.0.1.0.SMSCNXM, V14.0.0.13.SMSMIXM, V14.0.0.13.SMSINXM and V14.0.0.13.SMSEUXM. Since the Chinese ROM is already ready, we can say that the introduction is a matter of weeks.
The Chinese version should also offer a different name, the assumption is Redmi Note 12E Pro. And the model for the global market under the name POCO X5 Pro should follow with the same equipment, a little later.
