Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, which was to be introduced so that it would already appear in flagships in the second half of the year.
It may be a coronavirus pandemic that is under control in various parts of the world, but China is experiencing another wave and the government has ordered the closure of various sites, which has caused production delays in many factories.
And Xiaomi, which is always one of the first companies to always use the latest Qualcomm processors in its flagships, will pay for this.
Maybe that's why the upcoming model xiaomi 12s pro the company preferred to deploy a processor from MediaTek because it does not suffer from such supply issues.
We are also wondering whether this decision is a one-off due to the current shortage of chips or whether Xiaomi will become a regular customer of the most powerful MediaTek processors.
