It is short, ideal for a laptop, for example, and contains charging pins corresponding to the back of the watch.

Replacement straps are not a problem to replace, it is a standard watch holder. For the review, we received the watch in a dark, black version, but the body of the watch itself is rather dull gray. We were satisfied with the processing, given the price, these are suitable materials that hold very firmly.

The manufacturer built on the use of a 1,3 ″ TFT touch LCD panel, which has a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. This panel definitely does not rank among the best.
Whether it is a relatively coarse resolution or a color rendering and viewing angles, it is an imaginary average that we would no longer expect in 2020. Unfortunately, some savings had to be made and the price was reflected in the display in this case.
The minimum brightness of the watch display is OK, it does not blind at night. However, the manufacturer should work at maximum brightness, the watch was very difficult to read outdoors and especially in direct sunlight.
For comparison, the Mi Band 4 bracelet with its AMOLED panel also handles the situation better. On the other hand, if you are looking for a cheap watch to monitor fitness functions, the display may not be your number one priority in your case.

The watch is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth 4.2 technology. The data can then be synchronized using the Haylou Sport application.
It can be installed from the Play Store or Apple App Store. The condition is to have at least Android 4.4 or later on the phone, resp. iOS 8.0 or later.
The application is very similar to the Mi Fit or Amazfit applications in terms of control and layout of elements, which are also used to control products from the Xiaomi ecosystem.
There is basic information about current results, number of steps, heart rate measurements, etc. There is also a choice of sports such as walking, running, cycling, strength training, running on a treadmill, hiking, climbing, spinning or yoga.
In this case, detailed statistics with a calendar and individual results, which can be synchronized with your account, are a matter of course.
Clock settings are also available, including notifications, alarms and idle alerts.
Monitoring functions
When it comes to monitoring, watches are made for this job. The basic equipment is monitoring and analysis of movement, number of steps, distance traveled, calories burned, heart rate monitoring and its continuous measurement, sleep monitoring.
Monitoring of these functions is supplemented by the nine mentioned sports. Although the watch also contains increased resistance to water and dust, the manufacturer does not recommend swimming with the watch on your hand.
In this case, we would recommend looking at other watches. For example, it is the competing Mi Band 4 that manages swimming.
We tested the monitoring and it is necessary to admit that it worked quickly, but not so reliably. The watch could not recognize a break in running or walking and after the resumption of activity evaluated the average figure. In this case, it is better to choose to end and restart the activity.
It is also necessary to keep in mind that the GPS signal is drawn from a mobile phone. So you have to have a mobile phone with you during the activity.
Control good, no GPS
A great advantage is also a simple system and this is associated with a very good speed of response of the watch. Whether it's the watch menu itself, the start of monitoring functions or their progress, the watch reacted in a truly exemplary manner.
The watch is easy to operate, the basic screen shows the time, date and selected statistics. With simple swipe gestures, you can display a menu with applications to control music, weather, settings, and more.
There is a small notification center that groups the news and also offers similar statistics for walking or measuring your heart rate.
One of the other negative features of the Haylou LS01 watch is the absence of a built-in GPS. This can hinder selected users. However, due to the price, this is not exceptional, these devices simply draw the GPS signal via a connected mobile phone. So you can't leave your smartphone on the shelf at home while running.

In our case, the endurance was approximately at the level of 10-11 days per charge. However, for this value, the watch, especially in the given price category, does not have to be ashamed at all.
