Redmi as a subsidiary of Chinese Xiaomi is preparing its upcoming flagship with the designation Redmi K30. Although the official press conference is scheduled for December 10/2019, the phone has already passed TENAA certification.

Powerful smartphone and large battery
We observe two different models within the TENAA certification. So far, we only know the code names "M1912G7BC" and "M1912G7BE", both versions are standard 4G smartphones. The dimensions of the device were stopped at 165,3 × 76,6 × 8,81 mm, the weight is 208 grams.
The equipment includes a 6,67 ″ Full HD + display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Technology, resp. we don't know the type of display panel itself yet.
The 4G version should come to market with the Snapdragon 730G processor, while the better equipped 5G version followed with the more powerful Snapdragon 765G processor. Both pieces are focused on good performance and gaming experience. However, back to the unveiled 4G version, which will be available in more memory versions.
There will be 6/8/12 GB of RAM and up to 64/128/256 GB of internal storage to choose from. There will be an expansion with a microSD card and a battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh. The 4G version will probably get a smaller battery, as Redmi has already confirmed a 4500 mAh battery for the 5G model.
The main rear photo sensor is confirmed as 64 MPx Sony IMX686 sensor, complete with three more cameras. The front camera offers a resolution of 20 MPx and is located "in the room" in the display.
According to the certification, the smartphone will come in six colors (black, blue, green, pink, red and white), but they will probably not all be available immediately at the performance.
The latest leak also revealed the red color of the smartphone and the original packaging itself. A simple box with a dragon logo and a smartphone sign is definitely minimalist. The manufacturer is also preparing the aforementioned 5G version of the smartphone, its technical specifications may vary slightly.
A better-equipped version under the traditional name Redmi K2020 Pro is to appear on the market at the beginning of 30.
Side reader, powerful speaker and dual GPS
A novelty in the presentation of the Redmi K30 model is also a fingerprint reader located on the side of the device. The sensor is built into the hardware button to turn on the device, so the button performs a dual function. In addition, the side edge is very thin, only at the level of 2,44 mm.
This is especially due to the rounded protective glass on the front and back. It is a standard sensor, but such a location does not interfere with the display or design of the smartphone. We expect fast and reliable unlocking of the device.
At the bottom there is also an ultra-linear speaker, which the manufacturer also included in its upcoming smartphone. The new technology will bring clearer sound, but especially really high volume. Any "stereo" sound system with the front speaker has not yet been confirmed.
Another known improvement is the use of dual GPS technology. This feature should apply especially to the 5G version of the smartphone, while the dual frequency of the GPS signal will mainly improve the speed and accuracy of the user's position without inaccuracies or outages. The function could be appreciated especially by athletes who monitor their performance via a smartphone.
In addition, Redmi has confirmed the presence of a 3,5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res Audio certification, and there will also be an NFC chip for contactless payments.
