Redmi has maintained its tradition and is gradually publishing the parameters of the upcoming smartphone. Now the company has introduced us to the parameters of the main sensor. The Redmi K30 Pro will have a main sensor from a Sony workshop, specifically 64 MPx Sony IMX686 sensor.
The size of this sensor is 1 / 1.7 ″ s aperture f / 1.89 and a pixel size of up to 1.6 µm. It will be a 7P lens. The sensor features 4-in-1 pixel matching technology, which combines 4 pixels into one large one. As a result, it achieves much better results in poor lighting conditions.
The sensor can take pictures with a huge resolution 9248 x 6944 pixels. Thanks to such a high resolution, it will be possible to zoom in on photos without any sign of blur. The sensor will be capable 3-fold optical and 30x digital zoom.
8K video - you don't have to worry about memory
Technologies are advancing and 4K imaging is becoming more common. Redmi is moving even faster and will add 30K video support to the Redmi K8 Pro, much like Xiaomi did with the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.
The resolution of the 8K videos will be a stunning 7680 x 4320 pixels. He goes on to say that video can be fine-grained and tells us that we don't have to worry about taking up a lot of memory. Once recorded, it will be able to compress the size of the 8K recording by approximately 50% and the quality will be maintained.
Dual OIS system
Optical image stabilization is very important with a quality camera. Redmi adds this technology straight for two sensors. It was expected to be the main 64 MPx Sony sensor, but OIS will also be supported for telephoto lenses, the details of which we do not yet know.
We know that the telephoto lens will have a 3x optical zoom in the basic version, we do not know what it will be like in the Zoom version of this smartphone. OIS technology allows us to create stable photos and videos over long distances.
In addition to the main 64 MPx camera and the aforementioned telephoto lens, a wide-angle sensor and macro sensor are also expected. However, the parameters of these sensors are not yet known.
New color
Redmi presented us with 3 color versions a few days ago. It was green, white and purple. Today, however, a novelty came that the smartphone will also be available in an elegant gray color. In any color version, we can also notice a distinctive power button in red.
