Modernization in the form of enlargement did not bypass him either, and compared to its predecessor, it increased slightly. Dimensions are 163.3 x 75.4 mm x 8.9 mm with a weight of 218 grams.
The smartphone will be available in total in four modern shades that Redmi has revealed to us before.
At first glance, the K30 Pro impresses with today's conditions with its non-traditional display without cutouts and perforations, but also with the rear camera module in the shape of a circle. The physical connectors and buttons are arranged in the side frame of the smartphone, and their Xiaomi and Redmi-style layout has been preserved.
The rounding of the back cover on the sides optically slims the perimeter frame and thus the entire body of the smartphone. However, the display was left without significant rounding, which suits some users more, others less. The Gorilla Glass 5 standard is responsible for protecting the display as well as the glass back cover.
It is also a gratifying fact dust and water resistance certificate IP53, thanks to which the smartphone withstood a half - hour test with a dust cylinder and a water flow with a flow rate of 0,56 l / min for 10 minutes. The smartphone is above standard resistant to damage from falls, scratches and fingerprints.
The overall look of the K30 Pro is very addictive and will catch your eye at first glance. Its biggest advantage is, as with its predecessor, the K20 Pro, a display without holes and cutouts.
The retractable camera is even more sophisticated

In other parameters, the display does not lag behind other top smartphones. It has a resolution 2340 x 1080 pixels, ie classic FullHD + arranged in an aspect ratio 19,5:9.
Thanks to the retractable camera, Redmi managed to achieve an amazing, up to 92,7 percent front display coverage. The manufacturer has also minimized the frames on each side and the lower chin is now only 3,86 mm.
Sampling frequency 180 Hz can detect up to 180 stimuli on the screen in a single second. Ultra high contrast 5: 000 combined with maximum brightness up to 1 rivets it is literally a caress for the eyes. The more expensive sibling Xiaomi Mi 10 has the same parameters.

The battery and charging did not disappoint
Large displays, powerful components do everything they can to save energy, but let's be honest, that's never enough. The K30 Pro did not disappoint in this respect and is equipped with a battery with capacity 4700 mAh.
The feeling of a faster loss of energy is partly compensated by fast charging with a decent one power 33 W. It takes only 100 minutes to charge the battery to 66%. Unfortunately, we won't find wireless charging here again, probably to save costs.
64 MPx redesigned camera
The rear camera module as a whole has taken on the shape of a circle and, despite the different color versions of the K30 Pro, has a black background. The four camera sensors are spaced two and two next to each other and form the vertices of an imaginary square. In order not to be few geometric shapes, the color-coded connectors of the camera sensors form a transverse cross in the circular module.
Anyway, it's an interesting design combination and thanks to it, the back of the smartphone doesn't look boring. The LED flash is located completely outside the entire module, below it.

Global versions?
Traditionally, not a word has been said about the launch of the Redmi K30 Pro on global versions. Given the current critical situation in a world where a pandemic is raging, we probably can't expect them that soon. In addition, Xiaomi is scheduled to launch the new flagship Xiaomi Mi 27 this week, specifically on March 10.
However, we assume that the Redmi K30 Pro as such will not appear in global markets at all, but under favorable conditions it could come under a different name than in the past Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.
