Redmi K40 as POCO F3?
It is slowly becoming a habit that the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is launching its new smartphones in different markets under different names. It will not be otherwise with the new flagship smartphone Redmi K40.
It should build on the success of the brand in Europe POCO and sold with the label POCO F3. However, we do not yet know whether the premium model will follow the same trend Redmi K40 Pro / POCO F3Pro.

The novelty intended for Europe has already appeared in the Singaporean IDMA certification. Model POCO F3 was certified under the code model number M2012K11AG.
It is interesting that it also has the same model designation Redmi K40 in the Chinese TENAA certification, which means a clear connection between the two models. Smartphones should also share the same parameters.
AMOLED, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, NFC and 5G
As a reminder, just the original model Redmi K40 was certified under the model designation M2012K11AC and just POCO F3 so it will probably be a global version of this smartphone.
Despite the fact that it is not official information, in the smartphone equipment POCO F3 we expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, but also NFC and support for 5G connection. As for the display panel, there should be a Samsung AMOLED screen.
We don't know any other information yet, but we can expect very similar, if not identical, equipment to the Chinese version of the smartphone Redmi K40. The design should also be the same, so that it would fit in with its siblings in the form of smartphones POCO X3 NFC or POCO M3, which are already sold in our market.
