A subsidiary of Chinese Xiaomi, Redmi, will add two more smartphones this year to its flagship line. It will be about Redmi K40 Ultra a Redmi K40G and we already know the first information about the upcoming devices.
Redmi K40 Ultra: 120 Hz AMOLED display and MediaTek
Redmi is preparing a surprise for us in the form of a pair of new flagship smartphones. Redmi K40 Ultra a Redmi K40G should complement the current flag series for 2021 and offer some interesting features that came to us through the first leaks.
According to the available information, there will be a model Redmi K40 Ultra soon officially introduced in China and in its equipment will offer AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz or a flagship processor with the designation MediaTek Dimensity 1200.
Redmi K40G: MediaTek vs. Qualcomm
But that's not all. As stated by the Gizmochin portal, Redmi K40 Ultra will have a pair of different versions. One of them, mentioned with the MediaTek processor and the other with the Qualcomm processor. The latter version should be marketed under the name Redmi K40G.
Redmi K40G as the flagship model will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. The equipment will also be supplemented with a 4000 mAh battery with fast, up to 67W charging. It will lack up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
It is not yet known whether these smartphones will appear on the global market over time. We may have witnessed advice in the past Xiaomi Mi 10T or renamed devices in style Redmi K40, that is POCO F3. We will see how the Chinese manufacturer decides in this case, but we would definitely welcome these devices to our market.
