At the end of last year, Redmi introduced Note 12 series. So far, it has only done so in the domestic Chinese market, which is why there were questions about which models we will see abroad. Currently, the series has also started selling in the Indian market.
Great displays and performance
As for the design, it does not differ from the Chinese versions. Both smartphones have the same 6,67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2 x 400 pixels and 120-hertz refresh rate, while the sampling frequency is 240 Hz.
In addition, they have a contrast of 5:000, 000-bit color depth, maximum brightness at 900 rivets, and support for technology HDR10 + a Dolby Vision. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the shot.
In both cases, Redmi deployed the processor MediaTek Dimensity 1080 with support 5G with RAM type LPDDR4 with a maximum capacity of 12 GB and up to 256 gigabytes of UFS 2.2 storage.
200-megapixel sensor from Samsung
Model Notes redmi 12 Pro my main 50-megapixel camera with a sensor Sony IMX766 with optical stabilization. There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro.
The model has similar equipment Redmi Note 12 Pro +, except instead of the main camera it has 200-megapixel camera with a sensor Samsung ISOCELL HPX with a sensor size of 1/1,4 inch.
Fast charging up to 120 W
On the body we can find an audio connector, an infrared sensor, a linear vibration motor and stereo speakers. There is also Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM and NFC for contactless payment. It's a shame that we still find it here Android 12 with superstructure MIUI 13.
The battery has capacity in both cases 5 mAh, while the Pro model has maximum performance 67 W and the Pro+ model has a power of up to 120 W.
It is very likely that we will see the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ models on the global market and with the same specifications. However, we do not yet know when Redmi is planning a global conference and at what prices the models will be offered.
Prices in India are as follows:
- Redmi Note 12 Pro 6+128 GB – Rs 24 (999 euros)
- Redmi Note 12 Pro 8+128 GB – Rs 26 (999 euros)
