Subsidiary brand Redmi is preparing a new series of its smart TVs. We already know the technical specifications of the first one. Model with designation REDM TV A55 offers 55 ″, 4K resolution and HDR for 250 € / 295 USD.

Yesterday's announcement of the Xiaomi subsidiary confirmed the preparations for a new series of TVs Redmi TV A. The new series should include a total of up to 5 TVs diagonal from 32 ″ to 65 ″. The 55 ″ model was the first to be unveiled, offering very good features at an unbeatable price.
New REDM TV A55 should offer a minimalist design, traditionally following the example of its predecessors. Already at a given low price, it offers very thin frames around the screen, which complements the final design and dimensions of the TV. The equipment includes a 4K HDR screen (2840 x 2160 pixels) with a diagonal of 55 ″.
This new smart TV comes equipped with an unspecified quad-core processor, 1,5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. In terms of connectivity, there is a standard connection to an electrical outlet, 2 x USB type A, 2 x HDMI connector, S / PDIF input, AV input and input for antenna connection.
Besides that, REDM TV A55 does not forget important details of the equipment. The manufacturer has equipped this smart TV with surround sound and stereo sound called Mi Sound, which was created directly by Xiaomi.
There is also an MIUI operating system for TVs, which is based on the Android system. You will enjoy voice control of intelligent functions, as well as a connection with a smartphone.
The price is famous
Probably the biggest benefit is the low price of the equipment. New with a label REDM TV A55 should be sold on the Chinese domestic market for only 1999 Chinese yuan. This is currently approximately € 250 / $ 295.
We do not yet know the international availability of this 4K TV. However, we are curious when this series will appear in the offer of international retailers.
