Roborock S8, S8 Plus a S8 Pro Ultra: Nova series of robotic vacuum cleaners
Roborock claims that the new S8 series offers the most powerful cleaning system ever made for their robotic vacuum cleaners. Of course, the series offers many of the features known from the S7 and S7 MaxV models and even improves them. Thanks to these functions, you can really forget about cleaning your household, considering that the robotic vacuum cleaner will take care of everything on its own.
Last year at the CES exhibition, the Roborock S7 MaxV attracted attention with its high suction power of 5100 Pa. This represented the highest value among all available robotic vacuum cleaners on the market. This year, however, Roborock does not stop and has increased its performance with the S8 series up to a round 6000 Pa.
This is sufficient power for vacuuming dust and all other household dirt. There is also a double rubber roller brush that improves the passage of dirt into the container. It is therefore less likely that pet hair will get tangled in the brush.
Improved mop and better obstacle avoidance
Among other functions, the popular mop has undergone improvements. A better experience comes thanks to the VibraRise 2.0 system. This system automatically lifts the mop when cleaning the carpets and prevents your carpet from getting wet. The sonic mopping has also been improved, now having a frequency of up to 3000 times per minute.
When choosing the S8 Pro Ultra model, the customer even gets up to two vibration modules that provide even better efficiency compared to the original Roborock mop technology.
But let's move on to avoiding obstacles. An equally important function, especially in smaller apartments, is labeled Reactive 3D in the new generation, replacing the original Reactive AI technology.
Similar to its predecessors S6 MaxV and S7 MaxV, the new product in the S8 series has the task of identifying obstacles as accurately as possible and vacuuming the space around them. This technology also includes the recognition of excrement from pets, which is also avoided, instead of creating even more pollution by possible mopping.
