High-quality display and incredible battery life
The front of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 watch is dominated by a beautiful 1,5" AMOLED display round shape, which is inserted directly into the stainless steel body and protected by a durable tempered glass Corning Gorilla Glass. His very resolution came across as pleasant 480 x 480 px, which together with the maximum brightness of up to 2000 rivets they will provide a beautifully clean and clear image under almost any conditions.
The novelty is the so-called "Glove Mode", which will allow the display to remain responsive to touch even if you wear gloves, up to a thickness of 2 mm. A great trick, especially in the colder months.
Considering that it is a watch intended for the most demanding adventures, they got a battery with which you can forget about daily charging. It has a capacity of up to 700 mAh and with regular use promises incredible durability 27 days per charge.
With intensive use, they are able to last almost 2 weeks, but with constant use of GPS, their endurance will understandably be shortened to 42 to 180 hours. However, it is still a watch that you don't even have to think about charging.
Improved sensors and health tracking
A renewed biometric sensor was added to the equipment of the watch BioTracker™ PPG, which will take care of detailed monitoring of your health. It can constantly monitor yours heartbeat, blood oxygen saturation, stress level or skin temperature.
They also evaluate metrics readiness, which is a daily score on whether you should prioritize rest or activity that day.
For detailed monitoring of physical activity, you will find support for a total of up to 177 sports modes, including strength training, diving or ultramarathon. You can review all measured values in the mobile application Zepp App.
Of course, it is built-in dual GPS, which this time should be a bit more accurate than it was with the previous model. A great bonus is the ability to download offline maps, which will definitely come in handy in the field.
Integrated AI Zepp Flow and NFC payment support
Perhaps the most interesting addition of functions is integration AI assistant Zepp Flow directly into the operating system of the watch ZeppOS 4. It is a smart helper based on GPT-4o technology from OpenAI.
Thanks to the integration of the microphone, it is possible to type voice commands and thus gain full control over the watch, just with the help of your voice. However, the speaker is still not part of the watch's equipment, so you can forget about Bluetooth calls.
But what you don't have to forget is support contactless payments thanks to the integration of technology NFC and Zepp Pay mobile application. It allows you to connect with the watch as a whole up to 8 cards simultaneously, which ensures convenient contactless payments with just your wrist.
Currently only cards are supported MasterCard from mBank and the Curve card. The manufacturer promises that the support of cards from other banks will take place in the coming months.
Wireless connectivity at the level and decent durability
It is also an important part wireless connectivity, which will allow pairing the watch with other devices, as well as a stable connection to the Internet. For these functions, you will find a modern one here Bluetooth 5.2, but also gentler BLE for simpler tasks. They use to connect to the Internet Wi-Fi in the 2,4 GHz band, thus providing a stable connection to the Internet for downloading, updating or synchronizing data.
Everything that the watch offers is enclosed in a durable polymer body with steel bezel around the display, which gently extends over it and fulfills a protective function. Their construction fulfills several requirements military standards, which makes them resistant to extreme conditions at temperatures from 70℃ to freezing -30℃. They even gained a degree of resistance 10 ATM along with several diving certifications, thanks to which you can dive with them to a depth of 45 metrov.
The watch is available in two color variants, in elegant black or bold orange. The dimensions of the watch itself reached 48,5 × 48,5 × 13,8 mm and its weight stopped at 68,3 grams. The strap is made of silicone, which is comfortable to wear and has a width of 22 mm.
