Loyal fans of the Chinese giant have been experiencing such a smaller technological Christmas in recent days. Xiaomi has only recently introduced a premium model line Xiaomi Mi 11which offers really rich equipment.
You already know that the smartphones in this series have the vast majority of the best specifications on the market. However, only a moment has passed since the performance and new and new surprises are already appearing, which we did not notice during the conference.
Heart rate sensor in the display
Recent news on the Internet has revealed to us that the Mi 11 has one interesting and most importantly useful feature. It is a heart rate sensor directly in the smartphone display. We also have a test video:
The heart rate function is possible thanks to Xiaomi's cooperation with the company Goodix, which developed an optical fingerprint sensor with the ability to measure heart rate. The measurement only takes a few seconds and the results should also be relatively accurate.
In order to use this functionality, it is necessary to have the Mi Health application installed on your smartphone. In this application you have an overview of all medical records and activities you have performed.

Whether this feature will reach the global market is still questionable. Undoubtedly, this is a useful feature that can, in the extreme, be able to detect more serious heart problems. We will have to wait until the global performance of the Mi 11 series for an answer.
How do you rate this interest? Would you welcome a heart rate monitor on the display and on your smartphone? Would you be willing to pay extra for a smartphone with this feature? Feel free to write your opinions and observations to us in the discussion below the article.
