After a long hiatus, Xiaomi revived its tablet product line last year. All indications are that it will continue to do so this year, with Redmi also introducing a tablet. We have new leaked parameters of these tablets.
Xiaomi pad 6 should be the flagship tablet from this Chinese giant. Redmi Pad will be its less equipped sibling with a smaller display.
What displays will they bring?
Both devices are currently under development and no one knows when we can actually expect them, but there is talk of a month september or even already in auguste. Since it will be the same category of products, it is not excluded that they will be presented at the same time.
But we learned more about the displays themselves and the information was brought by the portal Redmicentral. According to his reports, there will be two sizes of diagonals, namely 12,4-inch and 10-inch LCD panels. Despite the same production technology, the larger display should be slightly better. The resolution will be the same, namely 2 x 800 pixels.
We believe that these two panels belong to the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Redmi Pad models. This would mean that we will not see any tablet with the Lite attribute.
Powerful Snapdragon or MediaTek?
The new information also concerns the used processors. It is said that Xiaomi still has not decided whether it will use a processor in the Xiaomi Pad 6 model Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 or MediaTek Dimensity 8100. However, both are highly efficient.
The Redmi Pad will probably use a processor from MediaTek, but of a lower class than the Dimensity 8100. We know that there will be 5G version and both models will have the same 6 GB RAM a 67-watt charging.
As for prices, the Xiaomi Pad 6 should cost approximately the same as its predecessor, so around 400 euros in the basic configuration. Redmi Pad will be cheaper, there is talk about the price roughly 260 euros.
