Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi officially launched a new fitness bracelet, already the sixth generation with the designation Xiaomi Mi Band 6. These are the three main improvements to the global version, which will be officially on sale in our Slovak or Czech sales market.
Xiaomi Mi Band 6: The main improvement is the new AMOLED display
Although the design and dimensions of the device are very similar to the previous generation, a big improvement is the magnification of the screen itself. It has minimal frames and is up to 5% larger than the Mi Band 50 model. Bracelet Xiaomi Mi Band 6 however, it no longer contains a capacitive button, returning to the home screen solves the swipe gesture from the left.
The diagonal of the sixth generation is up to 1,56 ″, there is no lack of AMOLED technology with good visibility and also higher fineness, which is up to 326 ppi. Such subtlety is slowly approaching the screens of some smartphones. A larger display also means more information displayed and better readability, which is definitely positive.
Improved monitoring of sports activities
However, the improved display is not the only novelty. The manufacturer has also worked on the monitoring of sports activities. In particular, it is an automatic exercise recognition that supports up to 6 sports, including running.
There is also an extended list of selections of all sports. In the new generation, we will find a total of 30 sports, including even zumba or street dance or freestyle training. Thanks to this, the novelty becomes a more complex tool that covers not only outdoor activities but also those in the interior.
Better sleep monitoring and SpO2 sensor
Among other novelties, we must also highlight better sleep monitoring. In this case, the manufacturer has integrated a more advanced sleep monitoring system, which also includes REM phase monitoring as well as sleep respiration quality monitoring.
In addition, the equipment also includes an SpO2 sensor for measuring the amount of oxygen in your blood. Using this function, we can check not only the level of stress, but also breathing and also how well oxygenated your body is at a given moment.
