Redmi, as a subsidiary of China's Xiaomi, is not afraid and for 2020 it has prepared a new flagship model for its fans with the name Redmi K30 Pro. Among other things, it will be in competition against the model from its own ranks, specifically against the flagship Xiaomi Mi 10.

Although we already know the European prices of the Mi 10 model, the official prices of the global version by Redmi are still unknown. However, they should be much lower and Redmi should be a brand with an even better price / performance ratio. However, we know some features that might interest the future owners of the K30 Pro smartphone.
IP certification and DualSIM support
The first major difference is the certification of increased resistance to dust and water. While the K30 Pro offers a certified IP 53 durability, Mi 10 offers only a special surface treatment with a designation P2i Coatingwhich repels water droplets from the surface.
What does certification actually mean? Redmi can be used in the rain or near swimming pools, it will survive water drops and a slight "splash" with water. The phone can also handle mild accidents with minor spills.
Another major difference is the use Dual SIM technology, in the case of Redmi. The K30 Pro has slots for two active SIM cards, while Xiaomi has dropped the solution in its global version. Mi 10 only supports in the global version Singles, ie one active SIM card inserted in the smartphone.
Storage, audio jack and FM radio
Redmi also brings a trump card in the form of an improved one UFS 3.1 storage, while the Mi 10 model offers a predecessor UFS 3.0. What is the advantage? A newer type of storage means not only higher write speeds, but also improved power consumption.
Many fans will definitely enjoy the presence 3,5 mm audio connector and built-in FM Radiowhich is also offered by the K30 Pro model. No online application is required and the radio can be listened to via a standard headset.
