Our favorite Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is preparing its next generation flagship device under the name Xiaomi 13. And we already know the dimensions and weight of the devices that will be in this series.
These are the new leaks about the Xiaomi 13 series
Today, a blogger with the nickname Panda revealed the body weight of smartphones in the Xiaomi 13 series. And these data will really surprise you. Basic model Xiaomi 13 should offer a 6,36″ straight AMOLED type screen Samsung E6 with a resolution of 1080p+. The glass version of this model has dimensions of 152,8 x 71,5 x 7,98 mm and weighs 189 grams. The leather version then measures 152,8 x 71,5 x 8,1 mm and only 185 grams.
If we look at the larger model Xiaomi 13 Pro, it should offer a 6,73″ curved AMOLED screen like Samsung E6 with 2K resolution. The ceramic design will offer dimensions of 163 x 74,6 x 8,38 mm and a weight of 229 grams. In this case, the leather version will have dimensions of 163 x 74,6 x 8,7 mm and a weight of 210 grams.
The series of these smartphones was originally scheduled for a Chinese press conference on December 1, 2022, but this event was postponed due to the death of the former Chinese president. An alternate date for this event is expected in a few weeks.
According to the official images from Xiaomi, the difference between the smartphones will mainly be in the equal or curved screen, as well as in the size of the devices themselves. Xiaomi 13 will offer thin frames on three sides at the level of only 1,61 mm, and the widest one will then be 1,81 mm. The ratio of the screen to the front wall is to 93,3%. There will also be a shot in the display, in the upper part of the screen, in the middle.
In addition, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun himself said that the grip of the Xiaomi 13 device is "surprisingly comfortable" considering its dimensions. As for the processor, the series will come with a chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2, which is manufactured by TSMC's 4nm manufacturing process.
1″ Sony camera and up to 120 W fast charging
Xiaomi 13 Pro impresses with a 50 MPx main camera Sony IMX989 with a size of up to 1″ and a 75 mm telephoto lens from the brand's workshop Leica. The specifications indicate that it will also offer a 50 MPx sensor Samsung JN1 for the needs of ultra-wide-angle images or macro images. It will also offer a 4820 mAh battery with support 120 W fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
