Given that April 6 is the annual Xiaomi festival, known as My Fan Festival, it is very likely that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be released for the domestic Chinese market during this period.
It's also good to see that global customers, that is us, would only have to wait a little around a month for it, which will definitely help sales. The main competitor in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is already out, and the iPhone 15 Pro/Ultra will not be presented until September.
Xiaomi will focus on photo equipment
As we already know the main purpose of the Ultra model, it will mainly want to impress with its high-end photo equipment, since the smartphones of the Xiaomi 13 series in the DxOMark rankings they did not impress.
The main sensor should be the same as in the case of the model Xiaomi 12S Ultra or 13 Pro. So it will be a 50-megapixel camera with 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor.
We can also look forward to a new look variable aperture, only the Huawei Mate 50 Pro appears on the market. In such a combination, it could be a really great photomobile.
We must not forget that Xiaomi cooperates with Leica, which is also a guarantee of high-quality images. Other parameters should already be shared with other smartphones of the series.
It will be an extremely powerful machine
Namely, it will be the same processor that currently has no competition in the Android world and it is about Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 with support 5G and minimally 12 GB RAM.
As for charging, we should wait roughly there 90 W and the USB-C connector will also be improved, which will finally follow the new 3.X standard.
