We also peeked at this premium Viomi faucet for a long time and finally decided to order it. As the battery is available in the Czech warehouse, delivery by courier took a great 4 days.
The product arrives in a surprisingly large box and overall the battery itself is larger. From the photos it looks much smaller.
In addition to the faucet itself, the package also includes water supply hoses, but the included hoses have larger 3/4 ″ threads, which are used in our country for washing machines or dishwashers. In the case of a tap in the kitchen, it is a 3/8 závit thread, so it is necessary to purchase hoses with a smaller tap. However, this is a matter in units of euros.
After purchasing the right hoses, the installation took us only a few minutes. The faucet is made of high-quality stainless steel and, thanks to its ground design, it looks really premium. The advantage is the possibility to rotate the battery in the range of 360 ° and also the winding head. This combination provides complete flexibility in use.
We chose the version with a wider head, but the shape of the head is more of a design matter. There is also a button on the head for switching the water flow - you can choose a stream similar to a shower or a classic integrated stream.
Of course, the connection to hot and cold water and the temperature can be regulated with a classic lever. This is also the only place where we can find the manufacturer's logo. Even though it is a faucet from the Xiaomi ecosystem, we will not find any special smart functions here - it is a high-quality, aesthetic faucet with a wide range of flexibility that will represent your kitchen with dignity.
Viomi faucets
Two design versions of Viomi faucets are currently on sale, while both versions are made of 304 stainless steel.
Both models offer an interesting retractable head, the construction also differs in the diameter of the heads (52 vs. 58 mm). The height of the batteries is the same, it is 422 mm.
The construction of the faucet is rotatable through 360 degrees, the lever system ensures the choice of cold and hot water.
There are two modes of use, one through a group of nozzles for cleaning (stronger stream) and the other through a single nozzle (weaker stream), for example for washing fruit or vegetables.
There is also an increase in the thermal resistance of the faucet and wear resistance. The aesthetic design is also very easy to clean.
