Xiaomi hair dryer Mijia Hair Dryer H501 also impressed us with its parameters and we decided to order it. The order was placed from Aliexpress on August 24, 2023, and the package was delivered to us on September 6. The delivery took place very quickly, in 14 calendar days (including weekends).
The hair dryer comes in a simple white box and since it is a Chinese version, the name on the package as well as the instructions are in Chinese. Also, the socket end is for the Chinese type of sockets, but a high-quality reduction is enough and you can use the hair dryer without any worries. We recommend these quality reductions from Aliexpress, we have verified them.
The hair dryer itself is made of plastic and is relatively light. Construction processing is at an excellent level. We ordered the hair dryer in classic white color. Control is very simple - the hair dryer includes a button for regulating the blowing speed, which you can set to mode 1 or 2, i.e. weaker and stronger wind.
In the editorial office, we also tested twice the price hair dryer Jimmy F6, which retails for €100 with a coupon, and to be honest, the engine in the H501 looks very similar to Jimmy's F6. On the one hand, these hair dryers are very similar in terms of sound and performance.
We mostly use the weaker mode, since even in this mode the wind speed is really great. The second, more powerful mode is also ideal for long women's hair, which dries very quickly at a speed of up to 223 km/h.
In addition, it also has a button to adjust the wind temperature, which works in three modes - cold, slightly warm and warm. Depending on the temperature you choose, the hair dryer also lights up, which is a pretty cool gadget 🙂 There is only one universal flat attachment in the package.
At the bottom, the hair dryer also has a filter that captures dirt or dust from the air. The cover can be easily removed and the filter can be cleaned either with a dry cloth or by gently blowing.
High performance in connection with the ionizer
One of the most interesting features of this hair dryer is its ability to achieve high air speed. It is equipped with a powerful brushless motor, which in the strongest mode reaches up to 110 rpm. Thanks to this, it can generate a stream of air with speed up to 223 km / h.
