It will soon be almost 1 year that we have been launched official cooperation with the hitherto unknown shopping portal Gshopper. We were the first in Slovakia to offer products from this website and we helped them enter the Slovak market.
Gshopper is currently one of the most reliable retailers, and Xiaomi, for example, also offers products in official global versions with a 2-year warranty (currently only smartphones). We decided to verify this with our own order for the Xiaomi 12 smartphone in the global version.

As Gshopper functions as a shopping center, similar to the well-known Aliexpress, you will find several retailers there. We ordered the Xiaomi 12 smartphone from a retailer called the "Xiaomi Global Store", which specializes in selling global versions of Xiaomi products. However, there are several vendors offering global versions of Xiaomi products on this portal, but this one had the best price for Xiaomi 12.
We realized the order in the amount of 619 € (after entering the coupon) on May 3.5.2022, 5, while its dispatch took place two days later, ie on May XNUMX. The tracking number for the GLS courier also received an e-mail that day. Since the delivery was to take place from a German warehouse, we expected fast delivery.

However, the courier did not have our phone number. Here is the recommendation
And so it happened. On May 10, a GLS courier knocked on our door with a package. Alone delivery therefore took an excellent 5 days. However, we would like to point out that our phone number was missing from the package, only the address was given and the courier could not call us. Fortunately for us, we already know the courier and so he knew who the package is.
We have found out the reason why our telephone number was not on the package and it will probably be due to the GDPR, ie the European Data Protection Act. We recommend that you closely monitor the package via the tracking number and prepare on the day of delivery that the courier does not have to have your phone number.
If delivery does not take place, be sure to contact the courier company immediately and arrange for the package to be picked up. We are not saying that a similar case must happen to you, but we just want to draw attention to such a situation.
We found out what it's like with a 2-year warranty and service
However, this article will not be just about shopping and delivery experience. As Gshopper declares that it provides a 2-year warranty on smartphones and local service, we decided to verify how it really is.
We contacted the service center VSP DATA SK sro, which has long covered the official warranty service of various brands for the Slovak and Czech markets, including Xiaomi. Our goal was to find out whether it is possible to service a smartphone from Gshopper in the official Xiaomi service for Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
We formulated a simple e-mail, where we added the identification IMEI number and SN (Serial Number), ie the serial number. Both are listed on the package. And they waited for an answer. A few hours later, we received the following answer: "Hello, distribution is fine, we can service. Have a nice day."
A simple but clear answer. It means that Gshopper sells Xiaomi smartphones from official global distribution that are intended for the European market. Of course, for a given smartphone on the seller's website, the global version must be explicitly indicated, or in English "Global Version".
Global distribution, coupon prices, official service
So what does all this mean? At least on the Gshopper shopping portal, you can be sure that you are buying the official global versions of Xiaomi smartphones that are covered by official Xiaomi warranty with service directly in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
So it's exactly the same as if you bought a smartphone from Slovak or Czech e-shops, with the difference that thanks to our coupons you can have tens of euros cheaper. In case of failure, therefore you won't have to "stretch with the Chinese" and you can contact the VSP Data service directly.
Of course, these phones include full language support as they have global MIUI installed. They contain all the Google applications, and automatic updates will be sent to your phone as soon as Xiaomi releases them to the world.
