Xiaomi has officially introduced another addition to the twelfth generation of its Smartphones with the label Xiaomi 12T Pro. This generation mainly brings very welcome, but also the less welcome changes last year's version.

Improved design and still a great display
The design of this year's Xiaomi 12T Pro has not changed much compared to its sibling a year older. Rather, these are minor adjustments and improvements, for example in the camera module, which the phone clearly places in this year's Xiaomi designs.
There are also almost no changes to the display. The exception here is the resolution, or the pixel density, which increased from 395 ppi to 446 ppi this year. However, the level of display protection has unfortunately dropped from Gorilla Glass Victus to Gorilla Glass 5, which is a bit disappointing. The color schemes also remain similar to those of last year.
Efficient processor for this year's novelty
It is located in the Xiaomi 12T Pro Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which, after its last two flagship Snapdragon processors, once again brings increased performance, but finally higher energy efficiency, or less phone overheating. It is manufactured using a 4nm manufacturing process (compared to 5nm for the Snapdragon 888).
The graphics chip has been upgraded to the Adreno 730, while the RAM memory and internal storage remain unchanged.
Camera: 200 MP monster Xiaomi 12T Pro
The new main camera in the Xiaomi 12T Pro is incredible 200 MPx, which is the most for any Xiaomi smartphone. The sensor is manufactured by Samsung, namely the HP1 chip. In addition, it brings optical image stabilization and technology Xiaomi Pro Focus for perfectly focused photos and videos in all conditions.
Last year's Xiaomi 11T Pro has a 108 MPx Samsung HM1 main sensor found in many other Xiaomi smartphones. The secondary cameras are largely similar in both versions.
The battery remained proven and reliable
There are no changes in this part of the phone compared to last year. We would like to see, for example, wireless charging here, which is unfortunately missing. However, these are still great parameters, as both phones have a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
There is a marked difference in price
The price of this year's model has doubled, which, despite rising prices in the world, represents a considerable jump. Specifically, it stopped just below €800.
Last year's Xiaomi 11T Pro is currently available for a price below 400 euros. So whether the new product brings enough improvements to justify this price tag, we'll leave it up to you.

Final Rating: Xiaomi 12T Pro vs Xiaomi 11T Pro
Since this year's novelty brought a significant increase in price, its improvements are viewed somewhat critically. However, it is still a great device with a camera that you simply cannot find in any other smartphone. High performance, a flagship display and a large battery will give you everything you need to get the most out of your smartphone.
However, unless maximum performance and the latest camera are something you're willing to pay almost double the price for, it is Xiaomi 11t pro still a great choice that we can recommend.
