Our favorite Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is not idle and is preparing its lightweight smartphone with the expected designation for the global market Xiaomi 13 Lite, while the design of the device also appeared in the leaks. However, it will not please you with its selling price.
Xiaomi 13 Lite: This is the expected smartphone design
After the Chinese debut of the flagship models Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, the launch of their global version is now being prepared. And in addition, leaks indicate that the series will be enriched with another model with the designation Xiaomi 13Lite. This information comes from the Google Play Console documents and in essence it will be a global model of the Chinese smartphone Xiaomi CIVI 2.
Tipper Billbil-Kun has already published the expected European prices and availability on the social network Twitter Xiaomi 13Lite. He says that this model will debut in Europe, together with the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, during the exhibition MWC 2023 in Barcelona. Pre-orders and subsequent sales should start from March 8, 2022 in at least two European markets.
As for the selling price itself, it definitely does not please. The leak tells the amount €549 za Xiaomi 13Lite s 256 GB storage. This is unusual for Xiaomi's mid-range smartphones, which usually start at a lower price with 128GB of storage. It is therefore possible that the leak of information is not complete and the stated amount will refer to the most expensive variant. However, this is currently speculation.
In the global version, we should expect two color versions. The smartphone should be sold in a light blue and black color combination, while the prominent camera module on the back will attract attention.
AMOLED display and Qualcomm processor
If we proceed from the specification Xiaomi CIVI 2, in equipment Xiaomi 13Lite we can expect a 6,55″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display should offer an opening for "selfie" cameras in its upper part. The presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage is expected.
