Chinese company Xiaomi officially unveiled its top-of-the-line flagship under the label at an anticipated press conference in April Xiaomi 13Ultra.
In terms of equipment, it impresses with a top-notch 120 Hz display from the TCL brand with a brightness of up to 2600 nits, but especially with premium photographic equipment developed in cooperation with the Leica brand.

Xiaomi 13Ultra directly follows on from its predecessor with the designation 12S Ultra. The massive construction has metal materials and rounded corners, with overall dimensions of 163,2 x 74,6 x 9.6 mm and a weight of 227 grams.
The construction is resistant to water and dust, with IP 68 certification. There is also high-quality protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 or a special surface anti-bacterial material of the 2nd generation on the back.
On the front there is a large up to 6,73 "AMOLED display with 1440p resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels) and 20:9 aspect ratio. The resulting fineness is 529 ppi. This is a panel type LTPO OLED from the company TCL with support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, which will offer extremely high brightness with a maximum value of up to 2600 nits.
The flagship processor takes care of the performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2, which has eight cores and is made with 4 nm technology. This processor is also complemented by an Adreno 740 graphics chip, as well as 12 GB of tpu LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 fast storage. On the software side, Android 13 with MIUI 14 is available.

Xiaomi also boasts of its own Loop LiquidCool smartphone cooling technology, which improves heat dissipation capabilities by 300% compared to traditional VCs. It states that the smartphone can shoot 4K/60 fps video continuously without frame loss.
50 MPx sensors, 8K video and fast 90 W charging

A huge technological innovation in the case of the 13 Ultra is also the variable aperture in the case of the entire photographic assembly of sensors, thanks to which the photos will be even more detailed and sharp.
A big advantage is also the support of the photo in the format 14bit Ultra RAW. You can use this mode especially in cooperation with the popular software Photoshop or Lightroom from Adobe. The smartphone supports recording up to 8K videos (24 fps) or 4K videos (60 fps). In addition, with Dolby Vision support. The front camera then has 32 MPx (f/2.4) and is located in the recess in the display.
In terms of connectivity, there is dual Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e/7, as well as Bluetooth 5.3, an infrared port for controlling home electronics, NFC for mobile payments as well as stereo speakers from Harman / Kardon.
Xiaomi has finally implemented the 13 Ultra a new generation of USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector, which reaches a maximum theoretical data transfer speed of up to 5 Gbps.
The integrated battery has capacity 5000 mAh, with Xiaomi reporting a DOU of 1,34 days. It supports fast wired charging with a power of up to 90 W, fast wireless charging up to 50 W and reverse charging for 10W accessories.
Special Ultra Photography Kit
Xiaomi has also developed a special Ultra Photography Kit for its new flagship, which turns the 13 Ultra into a literally compact camera. This kit includes a back cover, wireless launcher for a camera with a button that even has two positions – half press to focus and full press to shoot.
In addition, the kit also includes a handle for attaching filters, while they are universal in support 67 mm photographic filters.
Price and availability of a new flagship smartphone
New with a label Xiaomi 13Ultra it will also go on sale on the international market, but so far we only know the Chinese prices. The global ones, including availability, will be announced later.
The Slovak representative office of Xiaomi has already confirmed that the new product will not officially be sold on the Slovak market, but you don't have to be sad. We believe that the global version of Xiaomi 13 Ultra will go on sale through our foreign partners from European warehouses. The model also met the same fate Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G, which can be easily ordered from EU warehouses with a 2-year warranty.

Will it support video output via usb-c? Resp. hub support, so I can connect it to a larger monitor with all accessories? If not, the choice at that price is clear and that is Samsung.
