The device had the working name Redmi Karna and according to the available information, the smartphone should have a 144 Hz display, a Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ processor and a 64 MPx IMX686 sensor. Recent leaks only confirm these claims.
Dimension 1000+ will debut
Certified Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station has published a post referring to the arrival of a new smartphone with a processor MediaTek Dimension 1000+. It is this processor that is in the specifications of the Karna establishment.
The Dimensity 1000+ processor is to compete with the flagship Snapdragon 865 with its parameters. Interestingly, the Dimensity 1000+ processor is the only one that supports dual 5G connection on two SIM cards at the same time.
The processor works together with eight cores. The first 4 most powerful are Cortex-A77 and have a maximum frequency 2,6 GHz, the remaining Cortex-A55 are economical and operate at 2 GHz. Its high performance is due to the latest 7 nm technology.
Here again, the role of the graphics chip is very powerful Mali-G77 MC9which handles even the most challenging games. This combination supports Full HD refresh rate 144 Hz, so that another parameter from the Karna device sheet is confirmed.
Whether the new Redmi smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset will arrive next to the side with a 144 Hz display is still questionable, but we will probably see a resolution in July this year.
Also interesting is the estimated price of this smartphone, which for the basic model should be around 2000 yuan, which is in terms of 250 € / 6650 CZK.
