How does it work ?
Head-up display is basically projecting speed or navigation information directly onto the glass, which prevents distractions when checking alarm clocks. Sometimes there is a situation where it is dangerous to control the speed through classic alarm clocks.
This is where the head-up display comes in, and the one from Carrobot has its own glass as well as voice and application control. Thanks to this product, the head-up display can also be used by drivers of cars that do not include it in the equipment.

The manufacturer mentions in particular the sophisticated voice control, which uses the Spitzer algorithm. It not only takes care of better speech recognition, but also faster processing of the request.

Machine learning

The Xiaomi Carrobot head-up display is available in a version with a classic power supply, but also in a version with an OBD box. This box can be connected to the main connector in the car, through which the car diagnostics is also connected.
Thanks to the OBD function, the display will show not only speed data, but also data on current consumption, engine speed or indicators and warnings, which are also displayed on the dashboard.
Price and availability
The carrobot head-up display began its journey as a crowdfunding project on the YouPin platform. He has achieved his goal a long time ago and there are more than collected 545%.
It is available in two versions: HUD + power supply via 12 V adapter for approx 65 € / 1 813 CZK and HUD + power supply via OBD for approx 78 € / 2 176 CZK.
