The Chinese version of MIUI 12 has only recently been introduced. Xiaomi is now launching a program called Mi Pilot, which will allow selected bidders to become a beta tester of the global version that is yet to come.
I Pilot
Program I Pilot was established in the middle of last year. It is a recruitment organized directly by Xiaomi. They are looking for suitable candidates for testing Beta versions of their MIUI system superstructure.
Volunteers who are hired for this task examine the errors and shortcomings of the system, test it and, based on their experience, optimize the system.
In this way, the company avoids major system errors or serious system errors before the official launch of the superstructure. The Mi Pilot program is very popular with Mi Fans and is currently underway to test the new MIUI 12.
If you get involved and they choose you, you have the opportunity to test MIUI 12 Global first, in exchange for feedback on its shortcomings.
Who can join?
Currently, this recruitment is focused only on facility holders My 9, I 9T a Mi 9T Pro. Unfortunately, others do not currently have the opportunity to officially join the program.
However, there is no need to worry, other devices will be added based on Xiaomi's results and decisions.
How to register?
The Mi Pilot program works on the basis of a superstructure update. In case you become the "chosen one" for testing, you will get an update to the MIUI 12 global version before the others.
Then you just test the system itself and send bug reports. Based on them, Xiaomi can fix bugs before the official release.
The procedure is as follows:
- Go to registration form
- All required fields are required
- When done, you need to register and select the Mi Pilot component
- Xiaomi does not send any notifications, but sends updates directly to the new MIUI 12 extension
You can find all the necessary information in a post on the official Mi Community forum.
What you should know
If you decide to join the Mi Pilot program, you have to reckon with the fact that not everything may go as it should.
It is testing and you need to be aware that the system may freeze, crash or work at all. So consider carefully if you want to go for it.
If so, hurry up, the number of seats is limited. Recruitment is over May 18.
