As for the source of this information, it is a user nicknamed "kacskrz" on Twitter, who discovered a new EEC certification codenamed the upcoming model M2109W1. It is this model that should represent the upcoming smart watch, about which we have not had any other information or information leaks so far.
In addition to the code marking, the certification of the marking of the Xiaomi brands reveals a Redmi. This could indicate different sales in different markets. Some markets may offer this model under the Xiaomi brand, others under the brand Redmi. It would not be the first such choice by the manufacturer.
Global version of this product
Thanks to the mentioned certification, we also know that it will be a global version of this product due to the type of certification itself (Eurasian certification).
At the moment, however, we do not know what specific smart watch it is. However, it could be the successor to the popular model Xiaomi Mi Watch respectively. Xiaomi mi watch lite, but it can also be a completely new and unknown model.
