The new super-fast 5G network is slowly but surely developing worldwide. While in our country its launch in sight, in advanced technological countries the situation is different. This is also indicated by the increasingly popular 5G-enabled phones.
Another 5G smartphone from Xiaomi
Xiaomi already has one phone with 5G support and is an improved Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, which was launched earlier this year. Now another model is being prepared, which should be distributed as early as September / September 2019.
According to the available information, this should be an improved model of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 9, which we now know under two possible names - Xiaomi Mi 9S or Mi 9 5G.
In addition to supporting a fast 5G network, the new Mi 9S / Mi 9 5G will bring a few enhancements that are sure to please. The information came after certifying a new phone with a code number M1908F1XE. A smartphone that supports dual standby and eMBB 5G support broadband technology has appeared in TENAA's list of Chinese certification authorities.
Upcoming phone has dimensions 157,21 x 74,64 x 8,95 mm and is 1,34 mm thicker than the classic Mi 9. And this is because the improved model will have a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh. Support has also been confirmed fast charging up to 45 W.
The new version of the Mi 9 is coming up 6,39 ″ AMOLED display s FullHD + resolution, that is 2340 x 1080 px. The certificate specifies a 2,96 GHz processor, but the exact model is not specified. Given such a high working frequency, however, we consider it to be the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 +.
The alleged Xiaomi Mi 9S will be available in multiple memory versions - so 6/8 / 12GB RAM and internal memory offers 128 / 256 / 512 GB. The rear camera is unlikely to change, and it will be an equally good set of three sensors, with the main 48 MPx Sony sensor.
Similarity to Mi 9 is not coincidental
According to the attached pictures, the certified phone is too reminiscent of the Xiaomi Mi 9, and therefore the conjecture about the improved Mi 9S / Mi 9 5G could be true. As is the case with the leaked information, nothing has been officially confirmed and we will have to wait for the verified and complete information.
